A Place of Familiarity

The area of Southeast Asia can be compared to many familiar memories from past trips around the world. But out of all the memories from locations, Bolivar seems to fit quite perfectly. It's weird how you can fly 1,000s of miles away from home and yet it still seems to follow you. Southeast Asia is like my Bolivar in a completely different place on the globe.

The area is distant from big cities and has a "small town" feel. We have only been here for three weeks and I already feel like I know the area. Like Bolivar, though it doesn't have a ton to offer entertainment wise, the wildlife is incredible. There is a beach, hiking routes, and nature that you can't find in any city life.

I'm looking forward to sharing the Father's creation with these people. I'm excited to spend life with them in this corner of the world. And I'm looking forward to the changes yet to come in both their lives and our lives as well. I'm honored to be a bearer of light for my Father's glory to be revealed in a darkened place.
